The installation of a new roof is a very important part of the up-keep on your home. Many roofers don't include the (what I call) essentials of a roof properly installed. The aluminum drip edge is used at the rakes and eaves to allow water runoff to drip clear of underlying construction. I use the wider (1 1/2") flange drip edge and we replace all of the drip edge on your home when we remove the old shingles and install new shingles.
